Module Rich Text General Safety Requirement 2 (GSR2)

What is the General Safety Regulation (GSR)?

In the European Union (EU), heavy-duty trucks must adhere to a set of safety regulations known as the General Safety Regulation (GSR). By requiring the use of cutting-edge safety systems and enhancing truck cab design, the law lays out a number of standards that are intended to increase the safety of all vehicles on the road.

By 2038, the EU expects that its new car rules will prevent at least 140,000 serious injuries and save over 25,000 lives.
